Benchmarking approach

How excavator reports are built

Each excavator report benchmarks a single active European listing against active comparable listings, filtered by model family, year band, and hours band. The result is an observed asking-price range — not a valuation, not a transaction price.

Photo notes, green and red flags, seller context, and a verdict are added by a buyer-focused reviewer. Confidence is stated per report based on comparable count and geographic spread.
